PPC
| The new Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) met for the first time
on June 26 beginning a new period of history for our parish family.
The new council members were selected from our existing ministry commissions
which are each overseen by a staff member. Each ministry commission
was asked to send to the new council two representatives. There were
two representatives appointed by the pastor from the general parish
population and a liaison selected from the parish finance committee.
The parish staff selected one representative to serve on the council.
All were in-serviced by the Institute of School and Parish Development on
June 28. |

The Institute is a national consulting firm that works with Catholic parishes
and dioceses throughout the United States. Stephanie Greenwood is our
personal consultant and is working with the new PPC and the parish over the next
12 months to guide the parish through a process that will create a 3-5 year
development plan for the future. There will be an opportunity for every
parishioner to get involved and participate in helping to develop our plan for
the future.
