Good Friday Evening

A group of our parish high school sophomores, who are preparing to receive the sacrament of Confirmation, will present a dramatic interpretation of the Passion and Way of the Cross at our 7:00p service.  The Way of the Cross, which is based on the scriptural accounts of Jesus' trial, crucifixion, and death, was first put together by St. Francis of Assisi.  The Stations in Catholic churches remind us continuously of Jesus' sacrifice for our sins.

Holy Saturday

Please join us in the the festive Polish custom of Blessing the Easter Baskets at 12 noon on Saturday in Morrissey Hall.  The Baskets hold parts of the Easter Dinner, and in so blessing them, we bless the table and all who will be there on Easter.

Holy Saturday night's service, with the blessing of the new fire, new water, the Baptism and Confirmation of RCIA candidates, and the complete Scripture readings begins at 7:00pm.
