Welcome To The Liturgy Web Site!
Have you ever thought
about becoming a lector, auxiliary minister, service minister or usher, but were
unsure of exactly what would be expected of you?
Age requirements?
All ministries are available to all parishioners. Additionally, young
adults who have received the sacrament of confirmation may now become active in
these ministries.
Time Involvement?
Lectors, Auxiliary Ministers, and Service Ministers complete a tri-annual
questionnaire specifying their mass preferences and weekend and/or special
liturgy availability. Ushers normally serve at a specific mass or may also
serve on an "as needed" basis at that mass. |
|

|
|
Training?
Local training classes are conducted on an "as needed" basis for lectors,
auxiliary ministers, and service ministers. Ushers receive "on the job"
training from lead ushers.
We hope this information is helpful in encouraging you to become more
involved in the liturgy ministries at St. Cletus Church.
