Religious Education
Mission Statement
We are a community of families whose children attend the public school and
return to the parish on either Sunday mornings or Monday evenings to break
open the Word of God, learn our faith traditions, and discover God's work in
our lives.
Parents are encouraged to take an active role in our
program by reviewing lessons and homework and by volunteering time as an
office helper, substitute catechist, or hall monitor.

Early Childhood Program
This program provides beginning religious instruction to children ages 3 to 5.
Songs, crafts and stories are used to instill a sense of community and introduce
these young members of our parish to Jesus word.
R.C.I.A.
The R.C.I.A. Program is a process that helps inquiring adults learn more about
the Catholic faith. In questioning their faith and joining others, they
learn and discover principles of our faith and church. After inquiring
about the Catholic Church, individuals commit their desire to become Catholic.
Members are received into the Church at the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday.
You can get more information about the RCIA program by contacting Fr. Ken at
708-352-6209.
Contact the RE Office with any
questions about our programs at 708-352-2383.
