Girls Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Girl Scouts of the USA is the world’s preeminent organization dedicated
solely to girls—all girls—where, in an accepting and nurturing
environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real
world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop
qualities that will serve them all their lives, like leadership, strong
values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and
self-worth.
Founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, Girl Scouts' membership has
grown from 18 members in Savannah, Georgia, to 3.4 million members
throughout the United States, including U.S. territories, and in more
than 90 countries through USA Girl Scouts Overseas.
We are proud to have over 100 registered Girl Scouts at St. Cletus.
Any girls interested in joining a troop should contact that Troop Leader
-- a list of Troop Leaders follows. Call the St. Cletus School Office

“Me and My Guy Bowling” Event Recap!
The St. Cletus Girls Scouts and their "special" guys (aka: dads, grandpas, uncles, cousins, etc.) participated in an afternoon of “Me and My Guy Bowling” at Suburbanite Bowl in Westmont. Over 100 bowlers donned bowling shoes and put their bowling talents on the line! The afternoon ended with some really funny outfits – from lei bracelets and headbands to bunny ears and cool shades! All were won during the “crazy bowl” and “low lite" segments. Mrs. Komsthoeft, our mistress of ceremonies, kept the afternoon “rolling” along with her funky ideas and winning announcements! Kudos to all the volunteers including: Mrs. Vogt and Mrs. Dziak – our photographers; Mrs. Muldoon, Mrs. Hart and Mrs. Valdes – our check-in personnel; Mrs. Siegert, Mrs. Pulciani, Mrs. Habercoss – our shoe and prize people; the Hurley family for the yummy Girl Scout cookies; and especially to Mrs. Nelson and Mrs. Severino for their upfront work organizing this event. Enjoy the photos and we’ll see you next spring for another round of Girl Scout bowling fun!
