The Safety Patrol Program at St. Cletus has been established for a number of years. It is based on a national concern to develop and support driver, pedestrian, and traffic safety.
At St. Cletus the seventh and eighth graders participate in this program. The students are trained in responsibility, respect, and punctuality. We also train the students in proper flag etiquette. The students share these responsibilities with the teaching staff, which monitor the street crossings. The students themselves primarily assist in front of our school building helping the students disembark or load into their vehicles. It is a student responsibility that, we, as a school community, take seriously.
