Volunteer
We need you! View a list of the many opportunities that exist to contribute your time and talent at St. Cletus.
Attention: Volunteers
Any person wishing to volunteer to work with the children of St. Cletus School are required by the Archdiocese of Chicago to attend and participate in a Virtus Training Session.
Sessions for Virtus are being held at many parishes around our area. The sessions to be held at St. Cletus are scheduled for Wednesday, September 13th at 7:00pm, Sunday, September 24th at 1:00pm, and Thursday, September 28th at 7:00pm. Each session will last two hours and will be presented by Pat Kahl, Religious Education Director for the parish. You must register beforehand.
Remember, attendance at a Virtus Workshop is an Archdiocesan requirement. There are no exceptions. In order to volunteer in our school with any function you must attend Virtus training, complete a Volunteer Application, Criminal Background Check (online), Child Abuse Neglect Tracking System (CANTS) form, and read and sign off on the Code of Conduct.
Remember, these steps need to be followed in order to volunteer. We realize this is time consuming, however it is necessary for the safety and well being of our students. If you would like to volunteer and have not completed the above, I highly recommend taking the necessary steps. We need you! Research tells us that parents who stay involved in their child’s school and work to educate their child, see their child succeed more than not.
