Social Concerns Rummage Sale
4th ANNUAL ST. CLETUS RUMMAGE SALE
SATURDAY, JULY 23TH, 9 A.M. 3 P.M.
MORRISSEY HALL (St. Cletus gym)
The success of the St. Cletus Rummage sale depends on our parishioners. It
depends on YOU! We need you to donate your clean, usable household items. Clean
out your attics, basements, closets and garages for items that you no longer
need or want. Please keep in mind that we want your treasures that are in good
condition.
The dictionary defines a rummage sale as, a sale of
contributed miscellaneous articles, used or new, to raise money as for
charitable purposes. The proceeds of the sale will benefit the Conference of
the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Cletus Parish. The Society is dedicated to
the principle of serving Christ by helping those in need.
ITEMS WE WILL
ACCEPT HOUSEWARES: dishes, vases, blenders, toasters, pots, pans, etc. (no
sharp knives)
BABY ITEMS: Strollers, highchairs, play mats, etc. (no
clothes; no car seats or cribs, because of safety issues)
TOYS: bikes,
tricycles, scooters, (in good condition), toys and games, etc. (with no missing
pieces).
FURNITURE: couches, chairs, tables, lamps, etc. (clean and in
good condition) (Volunteer crews will pick-up large items)
SPORTING
GOODS: tennis rackets, baseball bats, motorized treadmills, exercise bikes, golf
clubs and bags, etc.
BOOKS, CDS, DVDS: fiction, non-fiction,
childrens, cook books, reference, etc. (no encyclopedias, text books or
magazines)
MISCELLANEOUS: tools, hardware, costume jewelry, musical
instruments
Donation receipts will be available for tax purposes. ITEMS
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT
We will NOT accept: Computers, computer monitors,
cribs, car seats, large appliances, TVs, clothes, shoes, purses, mattresses,
bedding, towels, blankets, stuffed animals, sharp knives, items that are dirty,
broken or missing parts.

Eucharistic Adoration & Benediction
Adoration begins following the 8:00am Mass
and continues during the day until 6:15pm on
the first Tuesday of each month.
The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is prayed at
6:15pm followed by Benediction.
Hispanic Adoration continues from 7:00pm
until 8:00pm. | |
