Music Ministry
The music ministry of St. Cletus Parish serves to enhance the prayerfulness of our
liturgies through song. We strive to provide the congregation of St. Cletus with the highest quality of
music, so that we may all worship more completely by praising God in song. No experience or prior musical
background is necessary to join any of our choirs, and we welcome all who have a love for God and for singing.
Director of Music - Justin Sisul (708) 352-4547.

Chancel Choir The Chancel Choir is our traditional Sunday choir. This 40-member (and growing)
adult ensemble leads us in song most Sundays at the 9:30 a.m. liturgy. They
rehearse each Thursday from 7:30-9:00 p.m. in the school music room. This
group of faith-filled singers ranges from classically trained singers to those
with no formal musical training. This choir is a wonderful place to enter
our singing community!
Children's Choir
Registration Form
| Choir Flyer Our parish Children’s Choir will be open to children in grades 3-6 this year.
Directed by Mrs. Karen Ziemba, this group will rehearse weekly and lead our
congregation in singing once each month including holidays.
Contemporary Choir This ensemble is open to singers and instrumentalists high-school aged and
beyond who enjoy singing in a smaller group. The Contemporary Choir will rehearse 1-2 times each
month and lead song at a variety of liturgies (3-4 times each month.) While none
of our choirs require formal experience, some musical/vocal background will be
an asset to members of this group. New faces – and returning faces – are
all welcome!
Good Shepherd Choir The Good Shepherd Choir is the ensemble that provides music for the funeral
liturgies at St. Cletus. This dedicated group of volunteers rehearses prior to
each funeral Mass and also sings at selected parish-wide liturgies throughout
the year. New members are always welcomed! Contact Person is Eugenia Callison at (708) 482-4974.
