Anyone who is interested in exploring Christianity and what it has to say about meaning and purpose of life.  All backgrounds, ages, religions and viewpoints are welcome at Alpha.  Whether you are a lifelong Christian, someone who wants to explore or reconnect with Christian faith or just curious about faith, Alpha is for you.

Alpha is free for everyone.

All Alpha sessions consist of 3 things: a meal, a short video and small group discussion.   Each session lasts 2 hours.

The 20 minute videos are designed to engage and inspire conversation.  They explore aspects of Christian faith with questions like   Is there more to life than this?   How can I have faith?    How does God guide us?   Who is the Holy Spirit?

This is often the best part of Alpha.  Folks share their responses and ideas about the questions raised in the videos.  Conversation is lively, open, honest and nonjudgemental.  But you are free to be quiet and just observe if you prefer.

The program lasts for 11 weeks, on Thursday evenings beginning 9/17/26.   There is a day retreat mid-way through the program.

Absolutely! Most people in Alpha didn’t know each other at the beginning.   It is a great way to meet people.  Many friendships were formed at Alpha.

There is no commitment if you find that Alpha is not right for you.  We encourage you to come and see for the first few sessions.  But if you decide not to continue there will be no follow-up.    Really.
