Ministerio Hispano
El Ministerio Hispano de San Cleto espera servir a todas aquellas personas cuyo primer idioma es el Español. El enfoque primario de este Ministerio es celebraciones Litúrgicas, preparación sacramental y evangelización, así como responder a diferentes necesidades sociales de la comunidad Hispana del área. Misa dominical, así como otras Liturgias de Días de Fiesta importantes son celebradas a lo largo del Año Litúrgico. De manera conjunta con el programa parroquial de Educación Religiosa, se ofrece preparación sacramental a padres y niños para los sacramentos de Reconciliación y Primera Comunión.
Además, se ofrece un programa a los jóvenes para recibir el sacramento de Confirmación. En colaboración con el programa parroquial de Compromiso Social, el Ministerio Hispano coordina servicios a familias necesitadas a través de la Despensa Comunitaria y el Árbol de Compartimiento de Adviento. El Ministerio Hispano también colabora con todas las organizaciones, grupos o individuos de la parroquia que deseen ofrecer asistencia a familias Hispanas necesitadas. The St. Cletus Hispanic Ministry seeks to serve individuals and families whose first language is Spanish. The Ministry’s primary focus is on the liturgical celebrations, sacramental preparation.
Adoration to the Blessed Sacrament
The St. Cletus Hispanic Ministry hosts Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Tuesday at 7:00pm. In the Church. We also gather together every month, on the second Saturday, for Nocturnal Adoration in church from 8pm-5am.
Devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe
On the 12th day of every month, we pray the Rosary in Church at 7:00 pm with a special intention to Our Lady of Guadalupe. It is a religious tradition of greeting Our Lady of Guadalupe with Mañanitas Guadalupanas the morning of December 12th. We invite you to join us to celebrate with us at 5:00 a.m. After the Mañanitas and prayers, everyone is invited to the Parish Center to share hot chocolate and pan dulce (sweet bread). At 7:00. p.m. we will celebrate the traditional “Misa de Las Rosas” (Mass of The Roses), after Mass, we will be enjoying traditional food and refreshments. Everyone is invited to celebrate with us and be part of our family and friends.
Quinceañeras
We offer preparation classes quarterly and help young women and their families prepare and plan for their Quinceañeras celebration.
Spanish Baptism Catechesis
We offer Baptism classes in Spanish every other month to help prepare parents and godparents to bring their child into the life of Christ through the sacrament of baptism. Evangelization and responding to a wide variety of social needs. Sunday Mass is celebrated, along with other major feasts throughout the liturgical year. The office of Hispanic Ministry is fully committed to responding to the needs of the Hispanic Community with the help and support of volunteers.
